On 23-th of April 2019 Art Center Karnolski organized the 11-th edition of the "Different But Together" initiative.This is one of the initiatives of Art Center “Karnolsky” where we as a non-government organization work for popularizing and promoting art amongst children and youth, for involving children with disabilities, finding talents between them and giving them possibilities to actively participate in cultural life.

The event is under the patronage of the Sofia Municipality Mayor – Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, who is also the first winner of “The Heart of Sofia” honorary award. The "Different But Together" initiative runs in close cooperation with the Bulgarian Teachers' Syndicate and personally by its Chairperson - Mrs. Yanka Takeva, and received the support of a number of state and municipal structures such as the Ministry of Education and Science, Sofia Municipality, the Regional Inspectorate Education - Sofia, Education Directorate of the Sofia Municipality, Oborishte District Municipality - Sofia, City Organization of the Bulgarian Red Cross.
Within the framework of the concert, the organizers present the annual award "Heart of Sofia" and "Heart of Bulgaria", which are awarded to prominent figures in the fields of art, culture, education, sports, science, who have earned recognition with their creative and social activity in favor of the development of the capital and the child and youth activities in it. Some of the honorees over the years are: Sylvie Vartan, Neshka Robeva, Stefan Danailov, Mikhail Belchev, Vili Kazasyan, Dimitar Berbatov Foundation, Dr. Giorgio de Faveri, Margarita Popova and others. This year the honorary award “Heart of Bulgaria” was given to NOVA Broadcasting Group for the socially responsible initiative Reach for Change.
