Aims and objective of the project
The main objective of the project is to create sustainable mechanisms and opportunities for
socialization and integration of children and young people with health difficulties, at risk or from
various marginalized communities, from socially weak or incomplete families.
In a narrower context, the project objectives are related to:
- Reaching and working with disadvantaged children and youth and various marginalized
communities, discovering their talents, supporting personal expression, raising their self-esteem and
Socializing;
- Creating a volunteer team to develop both their own social skills for 12 months and to influence the
social skills of the target groups, build a model for successful and sustainable work with talented
children and young people, develop good practices in and to develop ideas for more active socialization
And adaptation in society;
- Exchange of information, knowledge and experience among all participants in project activities on
the culture and traditions of each one and the achievement of intercultural learning.
The volunteer activities envisaged in the project will take place in Sofia and are related to both the
organization's activities and its objectives and mission. Through various methods and the use of
musical art, with the help of volunteers we will be able to reach a greater number of disadvantaged
children and young people and to representatives of various marginalized groups and communities,
such as blind children and young people of different ethnic backgrounds including Roma
communities), children and young people without parents and families with economic and social
difficulties.
Sofia, Bulgaria
Sofia is the capital of the Balkan nation of Bulgaria. It’s in the west of the country, below Vitosha Mountain. The city’s landmarks reflect more than 2,000 years of history, including Greek, Roman, Ottoman and Soviet occupation. Medieval Boyana Church has 13th-century frescoes. Built by the Romans in the 4th century, St. George Rotunda Church has medieval and Ottoman decoration dating to the 10th century.
